Sweet and Spicy Bacon Chicken

4 chicken breasts cut in thirds (12 pieces)
Bacon slices
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder
chili powder
brown sugar

Cut each breast into 3 pieces, season all the chicken with the spices, then wrap a bacon slice around each piece, roll in brown sugar and place into an oven proof dish....make sure you have some olive oil in the dish too, like 2 or 3 tablespoons is fine.

I guess I'm just not a baked chicken breast person. Or maybe we overcooked it (my friend and I spent more time talking and hanging out than watching the oven, lol.) Turned out pretty dry. But last night I had some in a sandwich with lots of mayo and it was really good that way.)

I'm going to try it again using thighs.

Yeah, thighs aren't nearly as dry.... Tracy (my co-cl here) prefers thighs too... but, I still like the breast. Sorry they didn't turn out so good for you but I'm glad they made a good sandwich with lots of mayo! I love mayo! Hope you will hang out with us here... come check us out in the "Chatter" area.... you sound like most of us... having more fun talking & hanging out with our friends than watching what's in the oven! LOL We'd love to get to know you!
