Mattel to release 'Hunger Games' Barbie doll

Mattel's Barbie Collector is in the process of producing a custom collectible doll inspired by The Hunger Games heroine Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence. The doll is "created specifically for the adult collector," Mattel says. Images of the doll will be released along with the item's availability at a later date.

The first thing that came to my mind when I read this was how much Katniss (if she were a real person) would hate having a Barbie doll modeled after her!

My 10 y/o daughter has the Edward and Bella Barbies.
