Hi ltlfredom. Dee gave you good information. Aleve is also an over-the-counter pain medication (naproxen). It isn't taken as often as some of the others, such as advil or motrin (ibuprofen).

Are you seeing a doctor for your medical issues. They might be able to prescribe something stronger than OTC medicines. Do you have access to a heated pool? Warm water aerobics are very helpful for arthritic and painful joints.
