My heart is heavy this morning

Not long before I went to bed last night, I found out that a friend of mine lost her husband in an accident last week. We used to be very close (she was my maid of honor when I married my first husband), but over the years we didn't talk as much. I never met her husband. I know they were having some difficulties and had separated, but I got the impression they were starting to work things out. She is devastated. She emailed me last night telling me how glad she is to see that I'm treasuring my husband before I lose him. I've been doing this thing on Facebook that I call 30 Day Spouse Appreciation. Every day (today is day 22) I post something about my husband that I respect, admire, love or appreciate about him. I guess she's been reading them. I didn't
