How is Everyone?

Glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well! Ds is deep into spring hockey, but that is wrapping up soon. Both kids are playing lacrosse, well dd is holding her stick on the sidelines, thank goodness we parted with 450 for this opportunity. Her coach is such a tool, but he is good friends with the coach at her college she will attend in the fall, so she has to suck up to this jerk. Ds will be playing in the state band finals, he even passed a lax tournament for this. Dd did well in the juried art show at school and has a few pieces at a larger art show now in both ceramics and photography. She also was awarded a great scholarship from her school!! Both kids are doing well in school, scouts, clubs and for the most part sports.

So good to hear from you both. Sue - how exciting almost two years now! it seems like it was yesterday! I wouldn't worry about Lizzie's C. The teachers and counselors here told us that a lot of schools would rather see a student struggle in an honors class than get an A in a regular class. They explained that they really are that much harder than the traditional class!

It will take me a while to get down this new job, but day by day I'm learning more and more. It's nice to have something to strive for. So I'm pushing myself, so they can't think twice about the title promotion. The lady directly under me had another bank (where the previous manager went) try to get her to come and work for them and she stayed, so I'm feeling blessed for that. It will take us a while to smooth everything out, but all in it's rightful time.

My2kidsmom - sounds like your kids are really doing well. I hope they have a great lacrosse season!! SD19 is officially done with spring practise and will start back up in July.

We lost my Grandmother yesterday morning. She lived a long (she was 90) loving life and while I will miss her, I'm glad she will not suffer with her demenia any longer. My Dad took it pretty hard, but he's on his way back to MI for the services and my oldest sister went with him. Dad had to call his Auntie and let her know and that was hard on him, but he didn't agree with some of his siblings about not telling Auntie, so he will be sure she gets to be at the services. My sweet little SD11 cried. She was so disappointed that she will not be able to meet Great Grandma now.

I am thankful for a really great nights sleep last night. I hadn't slept well in over two weeks now and it was really wearing on me. I feel asleep on the couch before 9 and only got up to crawl into bed.
