How did you finally come to terms and be a normal, happy person after your sexual abuse?

I think our "Healing Journey" takes time.
Baby Steps.
Recovery is such a personal thing, it means something different to everyone.
I am a Childhood Abuse Survivour myself.
It took a very long time for me to talk about but I did.
Being able to do that felt so freeing for me.
Many children cannot talk about when going through it.
Sometimes not until they are adults and sometimes not even then.
It was one of the hardest and most difficult things but I do not regret it.
I am so sorry you went through this.
The word itself, incest, makes my skin crawl. Such a dirty word! I was able to push my childhood trauma out of my life for years but then it came back to torment me. I'm coping but have recently begun to question why. I don't blame my faults and discretions on it but it has definitely influenced my life and certain decisions.
