I've been hearing some buzz for awhile now about delayed cord cutting.

We had planned to delay it a few minutes, as well as not rush the delivery of the placenta. It didn't matter in the end because I had an almost-emergency c section and wasn't given any choices at that point. For the next baby, we plan a vbac and to delay cord-cutting as well as not rush the placenta.

Hmm I've never given this much thought. Maybe when I deliver this time (hopefully ASAP) I'll request that DH make sure they take a minute before they clamp it. I don't know that I ever felt rushed in delivery of the placenta, my body just sort of took care of that on its own.
