I did one year but usually I don't see him on Easter so I haven't lately. Also since there are so many diabetics in both sides of his family I try not to emphasize candy eating.

I am making one for my granddaughter but she is getting a new dress and some small stuffed animals instead of candy. :-)

I know I am much older than you! :smileylol: But when I was growing up we always got a new dress for Easter and we really looked forward to that. I wonder if this still happens. We used to also get a new hat for Easter since at that time we wore hats to church. You are bringing back lovely memories.

How is your granddaughter preogressing? Has she caught up developmentally?

lol I was debating on whether or not to get my granddaughter a hat with her dress but I think her doctor's frown on her wearing a hat so I opted not too. They really have some adorable sweet Easter bonnets out there and I miss buying the whole outfit. My youngest would disown me if i even suggested buying her an Easter hat. lol

London is doing well but does have developmental delays. Her legs are too tight and it is causing issues so she's going to have braces put on her legs soon. We are hoping it helps.

Most importantly, she is starting to talk and calls me Lala. ;-)

No, my days of making Easter baskets stopped a few years ago. My four grands are 9 - 15 years old and I just let the "Easter Bunny" do the candy thing now!! Besides, I can't be trusted with candy in my house!! ;)
