Hey now; Its crucial to watch what you so much of the stuff we take for granted is actually not as harmless as it seems. Watch this video and you will see what i mean. It gave me a lot of room for thought. http://youtu.be/MZLnNLyXG0o
I guess 164 feels pretty bad because I gained the weight so quickly. It was only a matter of months. I did have to buy some shorts and jeans in a larger size because I used to wear a size 8, and right now I'm probably around a 12 or 14. My only choices were buy something larger or walk around naked! :)
Right now, my biggest struggle is all this Easter candy staring me in the face. Talk about a willpower tester...
Oh I hear you on the candy! I am dying to eat some, lol. I will say I am proud of myself as far as reeses peanut butter eggs are concerned. Walked by them a thousand times in Target and didn't buy a single one! Good thing I'm the only one who likes them - so I didn't need to buy them for the kiddo's basket!
I do not eat red meat and I dont fry stuff either. I try so hard to illiminate toxins.. I dont use regular deoderant. I use lots of organic foods and veggies and I use natural deoderant and organic shampoo. Trust me I do it for me and for the enviornment.
I use organic makeup and well just about try and do all the right things.I cant control the air I breathe but what I do have control over I use..
Just wondering how Easter weekend went for you! All that candy is hard to resist! I was bad... But Monday began my second phase of working out, so I'm ready to get it going again. You can do anything you put your mind to! :) I'm rooting for you and wish you all the best! Remember, weight loss is 80% nutrition 20% exercise. Eat clean, get healthy :)
Well, I'll be honest... Easter weekend wasn't all that good. I ate a little more chocolate than I should have, and then Easter dinner was loaded with carbs that I just couldn't resist. So, I regrouped today, and I'm back to watching what I eat.
I did have minor surgery today, and now I have stitches in my chest, so my workouts will have to be low impact for a bit. In the meantime, I plan on doing a lot of walking.
Excellent! I indulged in some Easter goodies too! Can't be deprived all the time :) just gotta limit it. I'm glad you're keeping the positive attitude and working hard doing what you can until you can really kick things up! Any thing is better than nothing! What do you normally do instead of walking or are you new at getting fit?

Hi & Welcome!
I agree - 164 is not the worst. There are lots of people on here who wouldn't mind being 164, lol. But I know what you mean and how you feel.
