What will your....

1. What will your Easter or other big dinner this weekend consist of?

2. Where will you eat it?

3. Will it be a dress up dinner?

4. Will the furry little guy bring chocolate to your house this year? Toys, Clothes...ect?

5. I am sure we all have fond memories ofd easter as kids and when our kids were little. What are some of yours?

Now make sure you all talk amoungst yourselves and respond to each others posts as i and others will be in and out all weekend.

Have a great weekend!!...and i will try and keep dh and my boys from hunting down the bunny before Easter lol

Some years we would be at grandpa and grandmas at the farm or aunt shirleys(got to play with my cousins); Then part of the weekend we would be at granddads and nana`s at the beach. seldom it would be at home...when we got older it was.

both grandparents had big meals. grandma and grandmas was real good. my aunt shirley and grandma are great cooks . grandma baked and sold some of it. she also worked in a bakery and cooked for farm crews...good food and lots! Grandma and granddad were menonite when they came to the country and they food was always in the dutch german tradition.Granddad and nana cooked for the highway crews. man could she cook. She was irish and we got the hot cross buns ect in the irish tradition. granddad had the mince meat pies...he was english. always good food. when nana died in `70 grandad continued to cook at his place or ours...nothing was dont till the bottle was.

was so different going from that to grants family. Lots of salad, turkey, cabbagerolls and ham were limited. so many of us and only i dutch oven of potatoes for 30 to 50 and easter. very little gravey either. mostly salads and pies after.

With the boys i loved seeing thier eyes when they saw the bunny had been here. searching for eggs. egg rolling. the big meal of turkey or ham.

Not sure .. am trying to talk DH out of ham, LOL

At home with just the two of us

Very casual, LOL

Nope he won't be showing his face ..
Although we do have many of them in the backyard that the furkids love to chase.

Probably when my boys were little & how we *helped* them find the hidden eggs

I remember my grandpa bringing us girls(5 of us) one big basket full of candy...a real treat...
My kids will never forgive me for dressing them up in what I thought were really cute clothes...when I look at the pictures now, I understand.....lol

1. What will your Easter or other big dinner this weekend consist of? Not totally sure yet. My DD1's boyfriend is doing most of the cooking. His hobby is gourmet cooking and he's good at it!! All I know so far is standing rib roast and bananas flambe for a dessert, the last I heard anyway.
