It won't be a long weekend for me and yet it will, lol. DH's parents are up from New Mexico, and while I've got a pretty good relationship with them I really feel that they don't understand/remember what its like having a toddler/preschooler. They often try to plan things for the middle of his nap time, or have meals later than we do. And then they blow off his temper tantrums that happen because of it...... I need to stop worrying so much and I do often put my foot down about when to do something based off of his schedule or adapting his schedule around it, which is easier to do now that he's older. Yeah, stop worrying so much, its just 3 days, lol.

Oh, enjoy the visit - and take lots of pictures! Treasure the time you have with them... and these moments. They can't be replaced.

Thank you, we are home now. The dog is plastered in my lap, and the very loud, and somewhat disoriented cat is siting in the screen door, watching the world go by. She did fine at the pet resort, but she did not like the ride home. She's been running all over since we returned and meowing loudly! Traffic was fine, but we were going the good direction. The line up of getting out of DC traffic was awful, glad not to be in that! A few more moments of peace, then off to service.

One good thing, he wasn't scared of G-ma this afternoon when she stopped by. We might be going to an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, depending on his mood, because its from noon-2pm and his nap is from 1-3pm...... So its all on how grumpy or not grumpy he is after lunch will decide that. Otherwise we'll just be hanging out, maybe ride his trike (he calls it a bike, lol) to the park again.
