After Tori Spelling admitted to DTD 4 weeks after giving birth, what's your opinion on the subject?

Do you plan to wait that long? Have you waited that long after previous pregnancies?

As I understand it, when the bleeding stops the cervix is closed enough to allow DTD. But I can't promise that I'll feel sexy/ready enough at a given time. I really hope DH and I can get back to a good sexlife. I feel like the years of infertility and the ups and downs of pregnancy have almost destroyed DTD for us.

Agreed! My OB asked what we planned to use for BC and I laughed in her face. His sperm count is less than 10mil consistently and declining due to scarring over. I don't think it will be an issue.

Altho neither of us have ever been diagnosed with anythin, we haven't use any BC since DS was born 1 yr ago apart from occasionally condoms and we've never conceived yet, now we actually want to conceive tho it's a bit of a worry that we it's gonna take forever again

I'm a little on the edge about this one. We've never had a problem getting pregnant. With our first DD i got pregnant on the pill, will #2 I got pregnant on the first try, and with #3 on the first try as well. It was really great to not have to go through the ttc thing, but now that we dont want more I'm a little worried! lol. We didnt wait the 6 weeks with our first DD, and i got pregnant 4 weeks after delivering our stillborn son in may, so i highly doubt we'll wait 6 weeks this time around. I'm 2 weeks pp now, and feeling pretty good, I think another week or 2 should and i should be good to go

We waited about 8 weeks before we dtd but i bled for 7 weeks and had a 3rd degree tear so DH was pretty understandin!

I wanted to hours after birth lol. I managed to get to three weeks. I've been bathing too, even though that's typically in the 6 week rule as well. I didn't tear or anything though.
