Anxiety Returning?

Hey Guys,

Well unfortunately these mild anxiety feelings that have been creeping around the last few weeks just popped up full force. I went for a walk. Something I usually do, and something I started doing when I first started taking Zoloft. Suddenly I could "feel" my heart palpitations on the verge of happening (for anyone who has ever had palps perhaps you know what I'm talking about), I started shaking and I could not really breathe. I took a nap today since I have been extremely tired lately so I don't want to contribute this to fatigue. It was not a hard walk, it is a walk I do often. I'm wondering if I am overwhelmed from

If you are on an anti-depressant, that might be the culprit.

Thank you for the responses. I think the Zoloft has worked wonders. I'm thinking perhaps I am "evening out" a bit more now though so the effects aren't as intense/numbing as they were. I have been volunteering like crazy. I'm feeling really good lately. Exhausted but good. My anxiety usually peaks when I get home now. I'm still fighting it though! I think I will try to hang in there with Zoloft for awhile. I have been hearing about adding Wellbutrin into the mix. I am fine with it because it is supposedly excellent for helping one to quit smoking but also works well with other medications. We will see!

If I get bored, depression sets in. I can see how boredom could lead to depression--depressed because I'm not doing anything meaningful, purposeful, significant. My question: how does boredom lead to anxiety? Tziporah

For me boredom can lead to anxiety because I start to get something like tunnel vision and all I do is think about the thing that is causing the anxiety and that can lead to an attack.
