Well as you can imagine after talking to the doctor yesterday I am ever so greatful and thankful to God for hearing my prayers and answering!!! I have had quite a few answered prayers the past couple of days and I couldn't be more thankful for that!

Well I am thankful for this time off. I am getting truly rested after my surgery, I have done some good creative cooking, and taken time with family members. I feel selfish having so much ME time, but I know it will end at some point, so I am forcing myself to relish it.

I was walking in the grocery store today and started thanking God

For a sunny day to go shopping

For jobs to provide income to feed my family

For available food to purchase to feed my family

For the freedom to go shopping whenever I please and make whatever I want

For a family to feed

For my family's health (and healthy appetites)

For a vehicle to cart the groceries home

There was more, but I cannot remember it all now.

That's so very true Karyn! I was kind of thinking along the same lines yesterday when my husband surprised us with a day trip to Myrtle Beach. I am so thankful we are able to do stuff like that especially with my back out the last couple of weeks. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get back to feeling ok. God is good!
