Ww 2013

Starting to see stuff about how the program might change for 2013.

This earnings call in August was interesting.

The gist is that the program will have a major innovation coming up. WW CEO called going from Points to PointsPlus a platform change and the 2012 changes as minor. This, he said, would be a major innovation and he compared to when they went to the Momentum program.

He says: "While it is still too soon to reveal many of the details, we're in the process of wrapping up the development of a significant new program upgrade across all of our major markets currently planned for launch in time for January next year.

We believe that this new program the potential to significantly improve our ability to help members make sustained changes in their weight-loss behaviors. While this innovation is not of the same scope as the platform change we launched with ProPoints in 2011, we believe it will be meaningful nonetheless."

What do you think the changes might be and what significance to us? Since you have a lot of experience with the program over the years, what changes are you hoping for?

I would love to see what changes they will do for 2013..
* I know they just put out a Activelink which is suppose to motivate people into
moving more... ( the longer I am a member of this WW I have realized its not just dieting anymore its the exercise that one does that helps them down the scale... The leader we have has lost 25lbs and she is a over exerciser.. big time and she shows her drive on exercising...

(( I am a WW and right now I am a bit slow on losing my last 4.2 lbs...))

Good questions.  Wish I had an answer.  My leader doesn't even talk about the active link gadget.  I tried to order one online and they never did send it.

Are you going to get an active link?  or a FitBit?

I don't think so I have the WW pedometer and that is a great item for me.. Others in the group think the activelink is another $ thing for WW... They told me at Life time or maintainer the activelink is money of 5 dollars a month for WW ..

Personally with winter coming upon me I don't think its a good time to by it..

I love WW and do the program , just at this time its tough to drop my last few lbs... so I am getting depressed over it... working my butt off and its still not coming off...* Trying to figure out how to make it come off...

Our leader in NY has been pushing it weekly but people aren't buying it..

Its fall weather here and a lot of them are changing the exercise regimen due to the temperature is dropping.. So some won't be walking as they use to be..

Do you have a WW's food scale?  i just bought one a couple of months ago, had a $10 coupon.  I just love it.  I haven't lost much weight, but at least I know how many points I'm eating.  I just figure I need to cut back on the fruit.

Interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing what the new program changes have in store. Though, I'll admit, I just got comfortable with Points Plus and I don't like change! LOL!
