Wanting to start a Challenge Group this October

I would like to get some challenge groups going for the month of October for motivation, support and inspiration. Let me know if you would be interested!!

We're all different fitness levels here and we've all been different fitness levels in the past but the biggest thing we have in common is that we all were unfit at some point.  I love John Bingham who encourages all runners, slow or not--as he put it, we had the courage to start.  Join us in other threads, like the journalling or weekly workout plans.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!!! I will. I just tried on a dress of mine and it almost fits!!! Which is so inspirational for me. So I will be around!!!

Welcome to the board! If you want, we do a weekly "goal" journal on what we're planning to do for the week and then at the end of the week, we check in on how it went.  We can offer suggestions for fitting it in, if you need.  You don't need to post per day but it is helpful--you could just say, four days of working out, for less stress.  And, under the daily journal, we post about what we're going to do and that helps w/ daily motivation.

Sure!!! I went to the gym this afternoon, and I plan on going 3 more times this week. My goal is to go 4x a week and I think I can do it. Just have to stay inspiried and motovatitaded.

That sounds like fun! In the past, we've done things like a push up challenge where we see how many push ups we can do in a month (I probably had the tightest abs I've ever had doing that one because I was doing them feet on a stability ball), weights challenge--where we saw how many pounds we'd lifted in a month (that was an adding nightmare for me).  Any ideas?
