Saw this on another EC and thought I'd post it here....
Rain on your wedding day may be a stroke of bad luck where you live, but it's quite the opposite in Malta. In fact, Maltese women pray for heavy rain when they exchange their vows, as a wet wedding is believed to forecast an easy first labor and childbirth. Couples go so far as to schedule their weddings on the days of "Stile", dates throughout the year that are associated with heavy rain.
Any truth for those BTDT moms?

No truth in this for me.....there was no rain on my wedding day (hail the day before, but nothing the day of), but I believe by comparison my delivery/labor would be considered "easy" to most
It poured on my wedding day. In fact, it was a tropical storm hitting! My first labor and delivery weren't that bad!
