BBT Charting

Hi Everyone!

I’m new here .

I want to track my BBT but I get cold at night (yes, even in the summer at times), so I used an electric heating blanket. I know this will throw off my results. Does anyone have any other charting advice besides CM and OPK’s. Or any advice on the IUI  procedure itself .

BTW I’ll be 38 and doing a non-medicated IUI with donor sperm next month.

Thanks.:smileyhappy:

Hi welcome to the board. I hope you can find the info and support you are looking for here!! Using an electric blanket can throw off your temps. The only place I have seen that issue even discussed is on fertility friend. Let me see if ivillage has any info on the best way to temp when you need an electric blankie. Here is what Fertility friend says "If you must use a heating pad or electric blanket, keep it at the same setting throughout your cycle. Make a note of its use." if you sign up with ff they email really good "lessons" about cm and cervical position and bbt. Great info There is checking cervical position Fertility monitors Bbt Checking cm Keep us updated! :smileyhappy:
