Weekend Plans?

What's happening this weekend?

I have to work overtime tonight.   But it's a middle school game instead of high school so it is right after school.   I get off at 4:00 and have to be back at 5:00.   We'll be done by about 7:30.   When I get off I'll get DS and go home to sit and stare at a wall.   He may talk me into playing video games with him.   That's pretty mindless.   DD is going to a Youth Group scavenger hunt.   She'll be home late.

Saturday DD and I have a winterize the softball field thing to go to.   It's from 9:00-10:30.   Then from 10:30-12:00 there is a parent/daughter softball game.    And then from 1:30-3:30 she has softball practice for her other team.

The kids' dad is taking them to a movie tomorrow evening.   During that time I may actually get to see Jeff.   Yay!

Sunday is cleaning, grocery, finishing an Indian project with DS, and more softball practice.

I leave work at 1:30 today to go get my mom and take her to get the results of her PET scan at 2:30.  This test will show if her cancer has spread to other parts of her body and where.  I think whatever we do tonight will probably depend on what we hear today.  I hope and pray we do not get bad news.

Tomorrow is family breakfast... and again, I hope we do not get bad news today because I know it will effect the mood tomorrow morning.... but, God is good and who knows ... even if we do hear bad news today, my mom may be in good spirits still.  She is taking those natural supplements faithfully and believes they are shrinking the tumors.

Tomorrow after breakfast, me and my husband really do need to get that pool winterized.  It is really nasty so we need to drain the water down to about 1 foot (so it does not blow away in the winter) and clean it up inside, get the filter drained and put away and get it covered for the winter.

I would like to get groceries tomorrow too and I need to pick up the house and basement because Sunday, after church, is Football Sunday at my house again.  This time it's BYO food and drink so I don't need to cook or prepare any big dishes but I thought it would be nice to have a dessert or two available.  I'm not sure what I'll make but it won't be too terribly difficult because I am not a good baker.

Sunday evening, after everyone goes home, I will prepare myself physically and mentally to return to the grindstone again Monday morning at 7:00 am!

DH's cousin and his new wife are in town from Florida.  There are 8 of us going out for dinner tonight at a local Italian restaurant.

Saturday - am I'll pick up my Dad for breakfast and then take him for a ride out to an apple orchard.  Will need to get in a grocery store run and laundry.  Saturday night will be dinner at home.

Sunday I'll hit the "Y" bright and early and then home to finish up laundry and start to pack for my trip to Florida.  We leave a week from Saturday and I want to get what I will be taking ready on Sunday so I don't have to worry about it during the week.

I was supposed to work a booth at the Front Street Festival at the Farmers' Market tomorrow for the animal shelter volunteer group.  Not enough people signed up, and then one had to fly out of town for a family emergency, and it's supposed to rain most of the day, so the group cancelled the booth.  PHEW.  I didn't really want to do it anyway.

I have Rowan tonight so Amy and her gentleman friend could go to a couples conference at their church.  I'm all for them increasing communication, finding out if they are compatible, or whatever, before they decide to marry or live together.  They both have had previous lousy marriages and nobody needs to repeat that mistake.

It was Homecoming for Ian, and apparently it went badly. Amy called me to check on Rowan and said Ian called her from a friend's house, said he didn't know where his date went, and didn't care.  This is the girl three of us spent a week making a homecoming mum for. Don't know what happened or whose fault it is, but Ian lives with his father, and if he learns how to treat women from him, he will grow up to be a complete a**hole.  The world does not need another one of those.

Once Rowan leaves tomorrow, I plan to work on Pug-o-ween costumes, possibly finsh them.  I'm holding Roly Poly's to see if he comes back to me.  It's a 18-24-month-size Disney Store Eeyore costume I bought off eBay (for $5 plus shipping), that I was going to cut down to fit him.  If Roly doesn't return to me, I'll just re-sell it on eBay next September.

 If it's a gloomy, rainy afternoon, I might take a much-needed nap.

Hope you heard good news Daisy and all enjoy breakfast today !

You have to leave water in the pool so it desn't blow away but more imprtantly so that the liner doesn't freeze and crack because there is no water  on it ! You don't want to have to buy a new liner...

Last night John and I had Chase for a little while - that was fun ! He rolls to get where he is going and we had him stand for a few seconds- he laughs alot and is a good baby =)..

Today My sister Kay and I had planned a long time ago to go to the Casino- so we are heading there soon.

Then the last race night for the season is tonight ... =(

Tomorrow just hanging out and cleaning .. Nothing really planned.

Enjoy your week-end ladies !

OK.  Well it appears that Ian wasn't an a**hole, but Amanda thinks he is.  Apparently the mum we all worked on for a week wasn't good enough.  She reportedly threw it on the ground and walked away.

Kids are so nice!

What a stinking, ugly, spoiled rotten, bratty, demon devil child! Ian is better off without that thankless, self-centered, hate-filled ingrate! Now, ask me what I really think! I cannot believe that girl... what a loser!
