We both work he brings home about 670.00 more than me a month.

We have 2 kids.  How much child support do you think I would get.

I want to get my own place with my kids.

thanks

you should check on line for a child support calculator for your state--all states have a formula but it's not the same so there's no point in us guessing--and we would need to know the gross amounts of each of your income, not just the difference because child support is a percentage of what he makes.

To the origianl poster - it depends on which state you live in (assuming you're in the US) and how much each of you makes, not just the non-custodial parent.

I'm not sure where the other poster got the information that the father in Texas will pay 35% of gross, but that is incorrect.  In Texas, the NCP (not always the father) will pay roughly 25% of NET (not gross) for 2 children.
