I have my c-section sceduled!

So as much as I would like to have a VBAC, no doctors or hospitals in my area allow them so its a c-section for me.
I got a call from my doctors office the other day with my c-section date!
It looks like if Jacari doesnt decide to come on his own, we can expect him on November 8th!
However, my doctors doesnt seem to think I will last that long, but wants to give the baby a chance to decide to come on his own. Im afraid he is going to be HUGE by then... he is measuring really long and his estimated weight is 7 1/2lbs.... ALREADY! i know those guesses can be off by a pound or 2...so HOPFULLY he wont get to gigantic before he decides to come or before November 8th!

They calculated it by ultrasound which I know is not accurate, and then before my OB/GYN saw the results of the ultrasound, he was feeling around on my stomach (you know what I mean, feels the position and all of that) and he said this is going to be a really big baby, and gave almost the exact same measurment as the ultrasound.
He has been a doctor for like 100 years lol Actrually I think it was since 1973. He is a high risk specialist, he has severed as a professor or assistant professor to many colleges in my state in Obstetrics and Gynecology, He was the Director and Vice-President of the Divisions of Fellowship and Program Services for The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Washington, DC, He has been chief OB/GYN for 2 different hospitals ( and currently is at the one im delivering at), he is on the editor board of THE JOURNAL OF THE NATIONAL ASSN OF OBSTETRICAL AND NEONATAL NURSES, and has a lot of published articles, so im hoping with all that, and the stuff i forgot, it means he has been around enough babies to be able to make a pretty good guess! lol

It sucks that they don't allow VBACs in your area, but with that weight estimate at only 33 weeks you might be glad for the c-section anyway. I hope they are off with the weight estimate by 2 lbs or else you might end up with a 10+ lb baby! How did they calculate the weight, btw?
