Rash Overreaction

So I had a rash pop up on my hip, and a friend suggested that it's probably petechiae. The only issue that came up in my first prenatal appointment was low platelet count, so I called my doctor and moved my prenatal appointment up four days to Monday. Now it's looking like by the time I get to the doctor the rash is going to be gone, and I feel like a drama queen.

Well that's good that your doctor isn't too worried about the platelet count. Let us know if they find out anything about the rash, I guess if it's gone by your appointment they will probably just chalk it up to nothing too important.

It's never bad to call and even if its gone its good to let them know. Do they have any idea why you have a low platelet count...it's the nurse in me getting curious.
