I haven't felt well in almost 2 years and I have found very few answers from doctors that even come close to explaining what I have been going through. I have been to ER 8 times in this period, seen numerous specialists, had more tests than I can even remember and all I've gotten is that my vitamin D is low (55 nmol so not THAT low), I have acid reflux (which I'm really not sure I believe b/c I have no burning whatsoever), and that I 'probably' have IBS.
In about 6 weeks or so I am due to see both a gynecologist and a gastro specialist (he is actually a surgeon). Oh yes, my symptoms: dizzy/lightheaded, weak arms, chest pain (left, middle and right - it's all over and scares the crap out of me but about 8 EKGs later they say my heart is fine), pain under breasts as well as under ribs (mostly right but sometimes left), pain spreads to back on right side and upper middle, achy right shoulder and arm, diarrhea for weeks at a time which is almost always yellow but last summer it was green. I occasionally get nauseous but only vomited once in this time.
I have had normal ultrasounds and bloodwork and colonoscopy but this situation seems anything but normal. My doctor says since everything's coming back fine she doesn't think it's anything serious. It's serious to me! I still suspect either gallbladder or celiac but have had to wait this long for further testing for these and still have a few weeks to go. I have also suspected endometriosis as my periods are strange and getting stranger as well as all this digestive stuff and that is why I'm going to see a gyn as well. I am afraid that I am dying!! My stress is through the roof over this. The indigestion and diarrhea are crazy sometimes and antacids (I've been on a few rxs) only help a little bit, they certainly don't take it away.
Any thoughts???! Any similar experiences? Do you think I'm on the right track? Help please and thanks!!
