Hurray - DD14 is now practising her piano!!!

A few months ago, I had posted that DD14 was losing interest in the piano and maybe I should stop her lessons. I got good advice from all of you here and in the end, DH suggested that she should continue without me nagging her to practise. So I did just that and I don't know if that turned the tide. Whenever DD is bored, she practises the piano for 10 minutes and that too too 3-4 times a week. I am happy she has gone from zero practice to some practice. I know "some" is equally bad but I am hoping that DD goes into "more" practice and play songs without stopping at least for herself.

Glad to hear it. Sometimes kids go through spurts where they just get tired of something, but can drift back to it after a bit of time off, less frequency or whatever the case may be.

Haven't been on here - or on iV for ages - but that's good to hear Chimi. I hope she is still continuing' Apologies for the old siggy! My DD is nearly 13 now
