A couple of months before we became pregnant with Charlotte, Fletcher announced at the dinner table that a baby was waiting in heaven to join our family. You never know!!!!
Children's names and ages: Fede 2 1/2 and Julia 6 m.
Any new milestones or fun stories: Fede is beginning to potty train... going less than smoothly, but at least going! He is also talking a ton. Although he is having trouble with verbs, he has an amazing vocabulary! I think it's just a matter of time for him. And something that for me is beyond awesome... I finally has the patience and attention span to enjoy stories. I'm reading to him, but also making up my own... So much fun!
Julia is finally sitting!!!!! We went through a rough period where she was really tired of just being on the stroller, but wasn't really ready for playing on the PNP (she would fall to a side, leaving her with her neck twisted against the net fabric of the sides). Well, she is now, and its a joy to see her play... She is also starting with solids. We are doing a mix of "old school" and BLW, and it is working well so far.... But, oh my... I forgot the mess it was!!!
What are you looking forward to this month: getting that house ready so we can move!!! You wouldn't believe how much fixing that house needs!! I know it's 60yo, but this is ridiculous!!!
Alyssa- Evan sounds so sweet… He really looks sweet, so I shouldn't be surprised! LIz- "i need a knife"? LOL! Andi- I love when you tell stories about your girls making eachother laugh. My kids are starting to do that and it is one of the best things in life!!! Amy- I love "grandma Miss Michelle"!!! So sweet! BTW, Fede is on a Zou phase right now… he wants to do everything he sees on the show! Christine- Kids know!!! LOL!
AFM- We came back from the wedding. Dissappointed to say the least! The trip was long... the poor kids handled it pretty well, but it absolutely messed with their sleep schedule. So we arrived pretty exhausted and they wouldn't nap at all. We were literally nodding from sleep at the wedding!!!
Then the next day we had all this awesome plans of going to the Oktoberfest (there is a town nearby with a strong german culture). We got there and it began to rain... non stop, all day!!! So while the rest of the family decided to face the rain anyways, we ended up huddled at a restaurant. We ate well, and the home brewed beer was fantastic, but it was EXPENSIVE!!!!
And the third day, we were supposed to enjoy the hotel's SPA. And Fede refused to go anywhere near the pool, and Julia was so fussy and kept crying all the time...
Oh, well... At least my cousin was ridiculously happy, and we spent a lot of quality time with family.
Now we need to see if we can finally get this moving business going... And finish potty training Fede. I tell you, I'm soooo done changing his diapers!!!!!!!
Sorry the trip was a bust Mari! Hope things get back settled soon!
AFM: Not much here. Zaydren has at least 16 teeth now, talks all the darn time (even randomly busts out a word or two in his sleep), and walks backwards time to time too. He has to be hands on and now wants to help with the cooking. That's not a good idea to me! Tried giving him a pot and whisk but the ones momma is using is more fun. Oh well :-/ lol
Not sure. I can't even get on all the boards. I keep getting error messages on the pregnancy board when I try to go on there. I hate all these changes they keep making. Makes me happy I'm also on the facebook page.
