Amy, I second Erica.. your funny
Kate, wow. I never understand how people can be like that.
Jan - So glad your DH is so excited
Erica - Exciting change from your DH!
Christine - your silly DH not every cat will do that! I hope we can be prego together again too! Hope your date night went well and Selin did great for Grandma
Alison- FX for you!
Melissa - FX for you as well!
AFM, I am soo glad this week is over! This has been a crazy week. Work is wild as normal. Still attempting to unpack. I got to read to kids for the communities in schools fairy tale fair. Then I was doing all the last minute prep for the 5k fundraiser we had on Saturday. Simon went home with my mom yesterday afternoon adn Matt and I went home and slept from 3-6. Then he let em sleep in ths morning too. We just got done unloading hay. So maybe we can go home and get some more done on the house. After we take the hay from my folks place to ours.
On the TTC from AF is coming to an end. So I guess we will just play it cool this month.
Kate - HUGE hugs!! I'm sorry everything's coming down on you at once. Do you think your X genuinely wants to see R, or is there some ulterior motive? Sorry about DH's dog, and the car, and everything! Amy - LOL! Send some my way, mmkay? Have fun BDing!!racer - Hope you enjoyed your day off. That's AWESOME DH is so excited!Melissa - It turned into a total blizzard yesterday... now it's mostly melted. Grrrr! As for couponing, not really. DH does all the shopping (long story why!) and he hates to. And the spotting sounds VERY promising!Erica - That's awesome he's so excited! Out of curiosity, what are the names??Christine - I remember you're Turkish! I will have to get your recommendations. The Ephesus port excursion is planned but for Istanbul we'll be there overnight so I'll likely need some advice. Wish we could still do Egypt but oh well. I've been to the Czech Rep. but DH has never been to Europe so I am SO excited!! That's SO funny about the cat/carpet excuse - carpets and floors are meant to be lived on! lol Hope you have a BLAST at the wedding and your date!
Alyssa - Yay on the date night, I know you've been wanting to get more of those in.
AFM - On the third day of progesterone. Been doing some reading on Letrozole (sp?) and wouldn't it be awesome if we got twins and were DONE on the first try?! Here's hoping.
Amy - It's just been random bad timing. DH has ED issues so it's hard for him to perform on the spot. He always seems to be ready a few days before O and then a few days after O so trying to fine tune our timing this month. Glad your move went well and yay for minimal internet down time!
Kate - Sorry about the XH issues and everything else going on. Hope you're having a better week now.
Alison - BIG (((HUGS))) girl!! Your trip sounds AMAZING! My DH is Turkish and I've had the pleasure of going to Turkey a few times and LOVE it over there, everyone is SO hospitable and the food is amazing! When we went last summer we were at a relative's summer house close to Greece and had a miscommunication with the relative and totally missed the only ferry! Hopefully next time we'll get to see Greece. Italy is also one of my other favorite countries. I am a travel junkie (have been to 12 countries) and love all things Mediterranean. Hope the planning of your trip will be the key to relaxing and conceiving a bebe!
Melissa - Sorry to hear about your doggie. Hope he's feeling better! Were you married before or were you talking about an ex boyfriend? PS - What kind of chocolate do you like? ;-)
Cassie - Your TTC plan for the next few months sounds perfect! Hope we'll be PG together again!
Erica - When I read your latest post I let out a little squeal! So happy your DH is coming around. And please share your pumpkin cake recipe if you don't mind! :-D
Jan - Hope you enjoyed your day off today! You certainly deserve it!
AFM - Sorry for being MIA lately. I've been reading every post though! Had a conference for work yesterday and today so wasn't on my laptop much this week. Feeling a lot better emotionally but still having my ups and downs. Yesterday I picked up Selin early from the sitter and ran into the mom who is PG. That was hard but I sucked it up and gave her a heartfelt congrats.
So I gave DH a bit of an ultimatum tonight...told him if we're not PG by Christmas then I get to pick out a cat, lol! We put our kitty down back in July and Selin and I are really missing not having any pets but my DH is against it right now because we just replaced our carpet. Well that suggestion really lit a fire under his butt and his response was "it's time to get serious about baby-making then!" LOL! I don't think he's intentionally not DTD during my fertile window it's just his crazy work schedule combined with his ED issues make timing things hard. We got lucky our first cycle NPP with Selin so it was hard not to hope to have beginner's luck the second time around as well.
Oh and I finally fixed my FF ticker. It was stuck on last cycle for some reason so I just re-copied the code altogether. Let me know if anyone else's is goofy too.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. We're going to a wedding tomorrow night and my MIL is coming over to stay with Selin. It will be her first time putting her to bed so crossing my fingers we don't get a call to come home early so we can actually enjoy this "date" night. I'm off school on Monday so looking forward to an extra-long weekend!
