The kids went outside yesterday evening when Drew was mowing, so their sneakers were a mess from the grass

I should probably call them to leave now since neither of them have their sneakers on or else we'll be late

Drew wasn't here this morning since he had to go in early, so at least it was a relatively calm morning

I had never thought about programming "home" as something else in the GPS due to someone stealing it, Dawn

For us, the GPS is either in the car (where someone could easily look at the registration for the car to see where we live)

Or, it is inside the house

I guess if someone was stealing it from there, then they'd already know where I've live, lol

That is a good point though if you carry it around, etc.

So far, Caden has not had homework/projects over breaks for the most part

There is something over the summer they request you do (town reading program and online math facts), but they can't really force anyone to do it

I heard once you get to middle and high school there is a mandatory packet you have to do over the summer

I am not sure what the consequence for not doing it is, but I believe there is one

Teachers here always say the kids can't recall basic math facts, etc. like they did before summer break

I could see teachers assigning homework/projects during breaks if they went to year round school here only b/c we'd have more breaks, even though they'd be shorter breaks

Today is supposed to be 72 degrees which is warmer than it normally is at this time of year

Then tomorrow is back down to 58 degrees or something

I have a feeling I will be warm by the end of the day, but I know it will be cold at school for the first part of the day

I really don't have tons of work stuff that I can wear in layers

I guess I just wasn't a baby wearing type person

I did use it a bit when Connor was very little

If Caden wanted to go outside, I used to bring Connor out in that

I didn't really experiment with other kinds of slings, so perhaps of I tried others, I would have found a different one I liked better

Oh my, Dawn!

I could see why you didn't want to go into that all earlier when you were tired

What a day you had!
