Yay for consignment store finds! We don't have any good kids ones around here that I've found. There was one when we first moved here but it closed. There is one 10-15 min away but their clothing selection isn't great.
Obviously I didn't see this thread when I posted this morning, lol. Just sitting at the girls school, waiting for 3:24 dismissal time. Then its home quickly, to my parents to drop Natalie off and then to soccer practice.
Alicia...my only tip is to bring her carseat on the plane and have her sit in it. That way it feels to her like she's in the car and there is no option of getting out. I always did that for my girls and it worked worked great. You need the carseat for the car anyway. And its safer if you hit any rough air.
Took Gabe to the allergist this morning. He's still having pretty strong reactions to egg (but his reaction did decrease by half so that's still encouraging). Pea and fish looked negative on the skin test. We're going to do food challenges on the fish. He tested positive for a reaction to almonds and peanuts - both were negative last year. So we're going to do a food challenge on that too. The allergist was really surprised he tested positive for the nuts so he's hoping it was just a false positive.
I third the car seat. I always bring it to the gate and ask if there is room. If there isn't then I gate check it. Alyssa always did better with it because it just seemed like a long car ride then.

Interesting about Gabe's allergy testing. I hope he eventually outgrows them all.
