I've decided I never want a "last car payment" ever again! You get used to not paying it then it's so much more painful when you start back up again. We drove my Accord for almost 11 years...six years too long for me! :smileyhappy:

Yes, it doesn't take too long to get used to not havi g a car payment. And it always seems so painful to redirect funds when you get one back.

I had a talk with daycare today....basically said I was giving notice but was open to suggestions if they could come up with a solution in the meantime. The director wasn't in but the new AD said she would get back to me in a few days. The money thing will sting a bit but I just am bothered more and more by the idea of pushing him. I'm always mad at him or punishing him...that has to be detrimental for his self esteem! He is obviously not ready...we have been at this since early June!!! I told her that the issue was controlling the whole family and I was just done with it. It would be great if they would work with us by tolerating pull-ups but I'm not holding my breath.

Alyssa has a fever. We are supposed to go out of town this weekend. She will probably stay home tomorrow. If she is still sick Thirsday we will just stay home. But the stage show of How To Train Your Dragin is in town this weekend. She wants to see it so if we stay home I will get tickets.

Gabe didn't sleep well last night but then when he did fall asleep he slept until 9:30! DH used that as an opportunity to sleep in himself. By the time they were semi coherent it was almost Noon and he decided to stay home. Which totally F'ed up my day, of course. I had to dodge them for two conference calls and one reporter interview. I hate when DH does sh*t like this! Makes me want to go out and rent office space. Oh wait, I now have a car payment and will soon probably have more expensive childcare...nevermind.

I need a new "veggie crack!" The last few times I bought eggplant I didn't cook it before it went bad, or I was jonesing for it and it was all half rotten in the store. It just doesn't last long! I got burned out on broccoli and am not really feeling carrots right now. Maybe I need to buy some brussel sprouts...those probably last a long time in the fridge!

Oh no! Hopefully she just has a two-day bug like we had here. I LOVE the How to Train Your Dragon movie...it is adorable! That seems like it would be difficult to pull off on stage though? :smileyhappy:

I think the new school supertindent moved into the neighborhood. Our township keeps our roads very clear in the winter. I do not have high hopes for many snow days this year.
