Well I guess the check engine light was just a sensor that costs $50.  So it makes sense to replace that.  But who knows what else will go wrong with the car.  If stuff keeps happening then it would be better to get a new car.  It wouldn't be brand new, but that's fine.  Our first 2 cars we got brand new and decided we get pre-owned the next time.  It just gets trashed with the girls and me working out of it all the time.  We'd probably end up with a pilot or a Highlander.  I like the Chevy Traverse too.  We had a rental one a few years ago in Florida and it was nice.

I'm not good with gift ideas either, but I do enjoy when I get a gift card to a restaurant.  Maybe there fav place to go out?

The weather is gorgeous today!  Almost 80 degrees and sunny.  The weekend is supposed to be cooler and rainy and then only in the 50s on Monday!  We will be chilly at Camryn soccer game.

We will be refi-ing too soon. I am waiting for the neighbor's unit sale to record since their will bring our value up. Also waiting for my part time day to roll off the "two recent" paystubs since banks will panic about anything they can. I might try to do a streamline refi since we now have an fha loan. I think that is an option. Should make all the paperwork easier... It was such a nightmare last year that i will really have to gear myself up for it.

B has a mystery fever and lily has been going to bed at 7 and is still complaining of exhaustion, so something is up with her too. I think we are doing an lazy weekend.

On a side note, i am doing a crystal growing project this weekend so i can film it to use as sparkly ice crystals in an animation i am working on for a client. I always love to do little projects like this where i make elements for work. Its fun.

I was going to dress up this year for our annual pumpkin carving party (adult party), but b changed his mind about being darth vader so my princess darth maul idea will not make much sense (not that it made much sense anyway). I may change my plan. Both kids changed their minds which is why i always wait until the last week or 2 to buy costumes... Currently the plan is jessie (toy story) and a skeleton... Today i will be researching decorating. I never do much, but this year i want to up the creepiness. Maybe it comes from just working on a horror movie...

Not sure if I'm excited or pissed off that DH needs to get his car towed to the shop tomorrow.

Ever walk out of a birthday party and think "wow...that was interesting."  That happened to me today.  Then Camryn and I did some damage at Whole Foods.  But the morning was good...went to a town celebration thing for a bit, walked around, got some free stuff and found a place that has GF cupcakes.  Score.
