A stayed home today. No fever today but all she's had to eat us 3 pieces of toast. She's been sleeping for a couple of hours. D came home from daycare with rosy cheeks but his ears are hot. The thermometer says 98 but I don't think I believe that.

He was doing great at peeing for two months but then regressed when he went to the new room at daycare - that was right at the point where we started pressing the issue with poop. Ugh. I'm just DONE! He knows exactly what he's doing - not sure if it's a control issue or if he is simply afraid. Either way....pushing it has backfired.

I was trying to look up the sales prices of houses in the neighborhood and noticed the name. I was amused by the fact that he had the sign of the neighbor who is on the school board running for state rep in his yard. At least he lives in the district and didn't move down the road where the property taxes are cheaper because its a different school district.

Or you can teach him to pee on a tree. That's fun for boys, right? Maybe they will agree to the pull ups so he's not standing out front peeing.

I can't believe that they won't even tolerate pull ups. I know that we picked the place where A went because we were coming up on her 3rd birthday and she showed no interest in pt. every center wanted to leave her in the toddler room. I didn't see how that would motivate he to pt when everyone else was in diapers. The owner told me every kid is different. She will figure it out when she was ready and she could go in with the 3 year olds. She ended up figuring things out on her own by August (when she started) and I think it was in part because I no longer felt that I had to push her and to just let peer pressure take its course. I hope you find someplace with that same philosophy Once the pressure is off of everyone he will probably figure it put in no time.

What kind of cheese did you put on it, Christine? IDK if I've ever heard of "park cheese." :smileyhappy: Seriously though - not giving you sh*t, I just have no idea what that autocorrect was supposed to mean.

ROFL!!! I think gas is already a write-off. Seriously though - I was almost there when I was sitting at Panera today. I had a conference call starting in 30 minutes but the music was too loud so the debate was, "go home and be annoyed by the family banging on my locked bedroom door" or "sit in the parking lot at Panera and take the call from my car and pray the wifi reaches" ?!?!?!

LOL - I was just telling the story the other day about my parents starting their teaching careers during the Vietnam War. We lived in a trailer park and the superintendent lived in the trailer across the street. He just had a bigger yard - no lie!
