The battle of the “American Idol” divas is apparently getting even uglier, with Mariah Carey claiming Nicki Minaj threatened her, prompting her to hire extra security. Minaj denies the claims.

Of course it is a publicity stunt. The X Factor is killing American Idol and they are desperate for attention.
