Good luck at the vet today.  Yes if you have insurance you might as well use it.

Kisses to Teddy.

Well we went in the room and she came in,teddy growled,I told her everything and the n said I would leave, she came out after all done and said what a different dog when you leave the room! He was a angel and just kissed us! She gave him his kennel cough shot and then gave him a antihistamine shot and a cortisone shot as last time I had to go to the er vet for reaction, she also took blood and will have it tested for allergy's.She wants me to keep giving benadryl till ground freezes and she also put him on methylpred which is like pred but a lot safer,it was $42 alone for that and $275 for all the other stuff!! She said the blood work goes to a national testing center so may take a few weeks

I feel for you. Mulligan had terrible allergies during the summer months. He got shots, but they didn't work as good as the steroid pills he took all summer tell that heavy frost.
I sure hope all this helps..I know you're miserable, along with poor Teddy.
