Love that heartbeat!!!

We're visiting family soon and I've been nervous about announcing without having heard the heartbeat. So all this week I've been using my home doppler for about 10 minutes looking for it. And tonight DH was in listening with me and we heard it so loud and clear! It averaged about 160 bpm. What a beautiful sound! Anyone else have any luck with a home doppler yet! Last time I couldn't find anything until about 10 or 11 weeks, this time I'm not yet 9. I think it's mostly about knowing where to "look" for the heartbeat. I'm so excited to tell family now :smileyhappy: Facebook and the rest of the world still has to wait for a bit though.

How fun to hear the heartbeat at home!  I don't have a home doppler.

Hmm, I'm not home, so I can't see. But it looks like this one, so maybe a Sonoline? I bought it on ebay a year and a half ago when I was due with my first. I only used it about once a month, but it was so reassuring when I used it! And it was especially great when I had long waits between appointments!
