Lost a dog today

Today my il's had to put down one of their dogs and now I can't stop crying. I think it is just the hormones because it is not like I was even that attached to the dog. I kind of wish I was not pregnant so I would not be crying this much because the crying is just making my heartburn and congestion worse. Sorry just needed to get that off my chest.

That's always hard, Katie! (((hugs))) I hope your family heals soon. I'd be lost with out my four legged friends.

It's still sad. I'm a pet sitter and even when one of my occasional clients passes on, it's hard for me. I still cry. It's natural to have those feelings.

I was thinking about this yesterday, but we had a dog when I was a senior in HS that my parents used as a stud (he was a champ giant schnauzer). eventually, they sold him as a pet after he was neutered and my daddy couldn't handle his strength any longer. when he died a few years ago, we all cried! Even though we hadn't seen him in ages! Pets are just such a part of our lives, even if they aren't our own!

Everyone thank you for the kind words. Our family is healing and are comforted by the thoughts that she is not suffering anymore and is in a better place doing the things she has not been able to do in years.
