Rosie Pope (maternity concierge and star of Bravo's 'Pregnant in Heels') recommends that you don't share your name choice unless you are ready to hear possible negative reactions.

Once you've decided on the perfect name, do you plan to share it with your friends and family prior to baby's birth or will you keep it to yourself until baby is born?

We haven't even started talking names, but I'd like to keep both the sex and the name secret until the baby arrives.
I like the idea of DH and I having something that is just ours throughout the pregnancy, and I also don't want any "helpful feedback" about the names we choose. I like some unusual names, so I am sure we'll get a few raised eyebrows if we end up with one of those (assuming I don't get raised eyebrows from DH first - ha!).
