I try to, but it's easier when I have a recipe like this

Give them a try - no one will even miss beef! Recipe here: http://bit.ly/Q8P3Ge   :smileytongue:

Don't these look yummy?  What are some things you like to make with no meat?  :smileyhappy:

I dont, but we do eat meatleass from time to time.  Pancakes with apples is a meatless dish we have for dinner sometimes.

We usually go meatless on Fridays, definitely during Lent. I have made enchiladas from leftover roast before. I probably could use refried beans next time (DD only eats refried beans, not regular beans due to a texture issue). I have lots of "go to" meatless meals to save on grocery money. My family would be thrilled if I served them pasta every night.

That is a great meatless meal!

Do you cook the apples to top the pancakes or do you use the apples in the pancake, Hannah? :smileyhappy:

I'm fond of pasta too, I like mine with lots of veggies in the dish.  :smileytongue:

Have you ever ordered a burger without the bun, Jeannie?

I will eat burgers without the bun when I am at home. Either I wrap it in lettuce, or just cut it up on my plate with diced tomato on top, yum. I love burgers.

My youngest niece is tryng Atkins, she had a bunless burger at Hardees the other day.    I like the lettuce in place of the bun better myself, and there's nothing wrong with just ketchup either.  :smileytongue:

Of course tomatoes and pickles are very desirable too.

Do you ever use worchester sauce on your meat, Jeannie?  :smileyhappy:

I agree with you there.  :smileyhappy:

Do you serve any condiments when you add potatoes instead of apples, Hannah?  :smileyhappy:
