Anyone watching? I wasn't sure I was going to like it, other than Dennis Quaid, Michael Chiklis and Jason O'Mara, but I really, really liked it. I'm an episode behind but plan to watch the second one tonight before the new one tonight.

I love seeing movie stars on TV. TV seems to be a bigger deal now, kwim? It's not just a stepping stone anymore.

The 60's setting—I was a bit wary, but it doesn't feel like the 60's while you're watching. Like it's not forced on you. It's just that you know a) there is still cowboys/ranches in Vegas in the 60's and b) Vegas is still up and coming.

Yep, totally agree! It just doesn't carry the same stigma it used to. Washed up movie stars heading back to TV. Nope. Now we have real stars on there. And I love it!

Haven't seen it, but the cast sounds great!

It does seems that established movie stars are way more open to being on TV shows now than in the past. Years back, it was almost seen as "the beginning of the end" to sign on a television series; now that doesn't seem to be the case. Personally, I bet taping a TV show is just as grueling and challenging as a movie in a lot of ways! But the good thing is, they don't have to wait months and months to see if their fans like it... :smileyhappy:
