Valerie can't stand hers! She tries to kick her way out, and it looks like a bag of microwave popcorn when she's in it. She hates to be swaddled, too. Any safe, warm suggestions for bed time in a nordic country?
Grayson won't swaddle either. But he's only calm when he's bundled under lots of blankets. He cries whenever he's put down, plus I'm too nervous to let him sleep by himself with a blanket, so I just hold him all day and night. I get so sweaty holding him under all these layers, so I take his temperature with a forehead scanner to make sure he doesn't overheat. I've gotten really good at balancing the laptop on my right knee and the baby on my left side.

Amanda likes to have her hands out also! but loves to be swaddled! sorry i dont have any suggestions tho. Good luck.
Hi there. My DD (now 6) hated to be swaddled. I used two or three blankets (depending on the weather) firmly tight to the bassinet but left her arms and half of the torso out. She never complained about it and was able to go to sleep like this. To this day she does not like to be covered completely in bed no matter how cold it is. Hope that helps.
