I wasn't able to log into i village on 10/08/10....computer problem

To My Beloved ^Shadow^ on her 2nd Wing Day

I lost a treasured friend two years ago today,

My girl dog who used to lay

Her gentle head upon my knee

And share her silent thoughts with me

She'll come no longer to my call,

Retrieve no more her favorite ball.

A voice far greater than my own

Has called her to HIS golden throne.

And though my eyes are filled with tears,

I thank HIM for the happy years

HE let her spend down here with me

And for her love and loyalty.

With My Heart,

^Shadow's^  Grandma

{{{^Shadow's^ Grandma}}}  What a lovely poem to honor your precious ^Shadow^.  {{{hugs}}}

I have the feeling your beloved furangel kept you off the your computer on the 8th, so she could focus on you.  (our angels work in mysterious ways)  She knew you were holding her ever so close.

The 2nd wingday can be overwhelming, (mine was) so I hope your dear heart was doing okay.  {{{gentle hugs}}}

"Happy" 2nd WingDay ^Shadow^
(I know you sent your Grandma a wonderful kiss)

Hi ^Whisper's^ Mom

Thanks so much for helping me remember my beloved ^Shadow^ on her 2nd Wing Day.  It means a lot to me.  Thank you for helping me through this very difficult time.  You are truly a rare person.  I know it was no accident that I found you on the message board.

I hope things are going well with you.

With My Heart,

^Shadow's^ Grandma

What a lovely poem, tears came flooding back when I read this, they give us such unconditional love don't they, and they continue, to do so in mysterious ways, Tina xx
