Do you ever get canker sores inside your mouth
(not fever blisters or cold sores that appear
outside the mouth or on the lip)?

If so, what do you do to get rid of them?

Lack of  selenium is common in some parts of Sweden and cranker sore  are more common there and a  doctor just tried  to add more selenium in the diet and the sore went away for the children and came back when they went back on the local diet.

And selenium isnt something doctors normally is looking for, it has to be asked for.

Have you check her up for  lack of selenium or if she is allergic to some types of food?

I dont get them anymore, since  my doctor started monitor my B12 levels and I get meds for it when it drops.

Canker sore can be a sign of  lack of mineral and vitamins,  kids most often  get them when they lack selenium and adults  B12, Iron and chrome.

I get fever blisters a lot.   But I see a nurse practitioner that's also old friend.  I talked to her about how often I get them.   She keeps me a running prescription for Famvir, so as soon as I feel one forming I pop two pills and they never form.   Score!

I used to dry them out with Campho-Phenique and then put Vitamin E oil on them to cure the scab.   Gross.

I get them often... maybe once every month or so. I take L-Lysine and that helps it heal quicker... it seems like it does anyway...

Does Kelsie have braces, Missy? I read that braces cause them a lot. Poor girl... they are horrible.. i feel for her.
