Well I knew it I ended up with an October baby.
Short Version: After an induction and a 7 hour labor I had Oliver Roland at 6pm on the 1st. Pushed for about 15mins. Out came a humongous 10 lbs 11oz baby. 22 inches long. Tons of hair! Healthy as can be.
Long Version: Went in for my 40 week check up dialated to a 2cm and 60% effaced. Doctor asked if I would like to be induced. I couldn't say yes fast enough. My pelvis had been poping out of place and I was in so much pain. Went in about 9am and got all settled. Took a long time to actually get hooked up to the pitocin. Before the pit I was actually already dialated to a 3 and about 90% effaced. Great starting point! I lasted till I was about 6cm dialated before I asked for an epidural. The contractions were right on top of eachother. It went super fast after I got it. My nurse was about to go off shift so she said she'd check me and I was 9+ I had only a little slight rim left. We ended up waiting a whole hour though before the doctor showed up. Which was good because that allowed the baby to come down the birth canal his self. I think that is the only reason I was able to push out a 10 lbs 11 oz baby with just a superficail tear on the old scar. It took about 15mins but I think I could have done it faster had I not been so numb. I dilated so fast after getting the epi that I was super numb. The doctor could barely hold onto him he was so heavy.
Nursing started out good in the hosptial but once we got home it was awful and I got super depressed like I did with my DD so I just quit. I am much happier now. He is too. He sleeps a lot durning the day. My DD was a way better sleeper.
Being a mother of two is going to kill me I think. But I am so in love.
