This sounds really good!

What would you recommend serving the chicken over, rice?

Hi there and welcome to the board... yes, you can serve this over rice if you want.

Yum sounds good - all I have is apple cider vinegar - will that work for the vinegar?

this recipe sounds really good-i can't wait to try it. good old fashioned potatoes (augratin?) or corn sounds good for side dishes. I will definitely give some feed back-hopefully next week..........where did this week go? LOL

I just made this! It got rave reviews from my DH and DD. ;) I used 4 chicken breasts cut into pieces and used white vinegar and served over a bed of rice with sliced peaches and apricots as a side. We had it over 2 nights and it saved great. My only slight issue was that it wasn't quite salty enough for me, so I ended up salting it on my plate. I might add a little more soy the next time. I might also add a touch of cornstarch to thicken the sauce. But, two thumbs up. ;)

Robin

PS DH requested the french dips again this week. I was going to make something new instead but he loved that! So, I guess I get another chance at perfecting it.

I've been lurking for a long time now, and as a single mom with three kids, I'm ALWAYS looking over here for family-tested recipes -- and I've yet to come across one that isn't good.
