Fruity glazed meatballs

Fruity Glazed Meatballs

1 lb ground pork, turkey or chicken
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
3 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
2 green onion, finely chopped
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Grape chili sauce

1 cup chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce

1) to make meatball, in a large bowl combine the ground meat, egg, bread crumbs, parsley, green onions, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well and shape into small meatballs

2) Preheat oven at 400F and arrange meatballs on a foil lined baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 10-12 minutes or until no longer pink inside

3) To prepare sauce, combine chili sauce, grape jelly, lemon juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce in slow cooker and add in meatballs

4) cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or until sauce is bubbly and meatballs are hot.
