Hi everyone,

I posted awhile back about a question on how to cook a pork roast in a SC. Well on Easter I cooked my first pork roast but I didn't do it in the slow cooker this time. It came out real good but the only problem was it came out a bit dry, so next time I will base the roast with the gravy.

Just wanted to give an update and thanks so much for the advice. The next one I cook, will be in a slow cooker.

Thx for the follow up... did you cover the roast while cooking? That helps to keep the moisture in. I also add water to the bottom of the pan to help keep it moist. Then I use that for gravy. That's one thing about a crockpot... it definitely keeps meat moist!

I covered it with foil paper and put holes in it. Should I have used another method to cover it?

Thanks for the tip I will definitely remember to do that next time.

YEah, the tin-foil would be enough if you sealed it good around the edges.
