Best Ever Barbecue Sauce in the Slow Cooker

2 cans tomato sauce, 8 oz. each
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 t. chili powder
2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. crushed dried red pepper

Mix 1 cup hot water and all ingredients in cooker. Stir to blend. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Makes 4 cups.

I would think that only one chicken breast might not be enough for this recipe unless you halve it.... I think it makes 4 cups of sauce.

I used 3 chicken breasts and doctored up the sauce a little but everyone loved it!

Oh Daisy, now I see what you meant. When I said "this one" I meant this one recipe. I didn't explain myself very well. The chicken came out very juicy. I will make this again!
