CP Chicken Tortilla Soup

Chicken Tortilla Soup


Chicken; pre-cooked, amount to taste
1 large can tomato puree
1 can chicken broth
1 large jar salsa or picante sauce
1 small can diced green chilies
1 can corn; drained
salt and pepper to taste
Emeril's Southwest seasoning to taste
cheese
tortilla crumbles


Combine all ingridients in the Crock Pot.

I have used raw chicken and pre-cooked.

Okay so the recipe says pre-cooked chicken then the directions say to shred chicken when it is cooked...So do you shred it before you add it or can you use raw chicken?

Is this at all spicy? I can't handle much spice and a lot of recipes I want to try have salsa, so I usually don't try them.
