I was in the produce section of the market today and ended up with a basket of wierd fall stuff. What in the heck do you do with spagetti squash? And who made up the name" Orangetti Spagetti...? Is this a trick to get your kids laughing so hard they won't notice what the heck they're eating until dessert is served? I wish I had some of this when my boys were little. Ha!Thank you for your help. And your laughs!

Wow, I've never heard of Orangetti/Spaghetti squash.... but I know that on a lot of cooking shows I've watched they've substituted spaghetti squash (peeled and shredded with a fork) for pasta in many recipes... especially those that are trying to eat low-carb.

Hopefully someone will be able to help you better than I did.

Well, I'm not looking for any commedy shows, the sticker on the squash said it all. I had everybody in the Produce department in stitches. Now I have to figure out the next trick...getting it on the table!

I like all kinds of spagetti, too, and a little salt& pepper is good enough for me,too.
But, I was afraid to try something new without a recipe. The only one I could find in a short search was with, wouldn't you know it, spagetti sauce.Duh! Well, I went along with it but was really disappointed when it was all finished and wished that I had just done it simply and appreciated the squash for what it really was and not tried to make it into something that it wasn't meant to be. Get it? Ha
Hugs and thanks for the input.

We should stick to the K.I.S.S. method - Keep It Simple Sam (or Sally as the case may be, LOL)
