Easy Creamed Corn

3 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut up
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (15 1/2 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained, or 2 cups frozen.

In small saucepan, combine cream cheese, milk, butter and black pepper. Cook over medium heat until smooth, whisking constantly. Stir in corn. Cook and stir until heated through.
