I always think of my sister when I make this. This is her recipe and she was with us in spirit (actually in salad) yesterday for Mother's Day. She lives out of town but did call Mom.
Serving Size : 6
4 cups broccoli florets -- uncooked
1/4 pound bacon -- cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 large Bermuda onion -- chopped
1/4 cup slivered almonds -- toasted
1 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
Combine mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar; stir until sugar dissolves. Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl, pour dressing over all and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
